Manuel was born on August 31st, 1866.  Manuel's father was Joan Miró (Torroella) and his mother is Mª Àngela Ponsatí (Bañeras).  His paternal grandfather was Josep Miró (Romaguera) and his paternal grandmother is Francisca Torroella (Oliver). He had three sisters named Josefa, Joaquina and Francesca.  Manuel is no longer alive.
