Joseph was born in 1716.  Joseph's father is Joseph Ponsatí (Casavells) and his mother is Cecilia Gomis (Vulpellac).  His paternal grandfather is Bernat Ponsatí (Vulpellac) and his paternal grandmother was Elisabeth; his maternal grandparents are Antoni Gomis and Margarida.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 66 on March 31st, 1782.
